Morning Glory Christian Academy Service Trip
You'll spend a week serving at Morning Glory Christian Academy in San Raymundo, Guatemala from July 6-13, 2026. Morning Glory exists to "educate, equip, and encourage" the community, serving over 550 students from pre-K through college-entry levels in this rural village about 31 kilometers north of Guatemala City.
Trip Overview:
Mission Focus: Serve 550+ students at Morning Glory Christian Academy through education, encouragement, and relationship building in this rural mountain community.
Service Opportunities:
- VBS-style activities and Bible classes
- English instruction and tutoring
- Light construction projects
- Community outreach and cultural engagement
- Building lasting relationships with students, staff, and families
What's Included: All meals (a mix of Guatemalan and American food), dormitory-style lodging on campus, ground transportation to/from Guatemala City airport, and translators as needed.
Total Trip Fee: $1,700 per person
Less Elder Subsidy: -$500
Your Cost: $1,200 per person
Special thanks: Our church elders have generously agreed to subsidize $500 per person, reducing your cost from $1,700 to $1,200!
Payment Schedule:
Initial Deposit (Due upon registration): $100 - Secures your spot on the team
February 1, 2026: $150
March 1, 2026: $175
April 1, 2026: $200
May 1, 2026: $225
June 1, 2026: $250
Final Payment - June 6, 2026: $100 - 30 days before departure (trip requirement)

Spending Money: Recommended for snacks, souvenirs, and personal items.
